• Discord Integration: When you link your Discord account, we store only your Discord user ID in our database to enable Discord integrations. Discord usernames and avatars are obtained from Discord during the linking process and may also be fetched per session through our Discord Bot when you share Discord servers with our bot. This profile information is used for display purposes and is not permanently stored in our database.
• User Role Information: We store your role on our platform (e.g., user, admin) to manage permissions.
• Server Information: Details about servers you add or manage, including player counts, server status, and other metrics used for ranking.
• Player Statistics: If you play on servers using our plugin, we may collect gameplay statistics such as kills, deaths, headshots, assists, rounds won/lost, playtime, and team information. This data is linked to your Steam ID and may include your Steam username and avatar hash.
• Location Data (Temporary): We temporarily determine your approximate location based on your IP address using the MaxMind GeoIP database to provide you with relevant server recommendations during your current session only. This includes country code, country name, continent code, region, region name, latitude, longitude, postal code, and city. This data is not stored in our database and is only determined when starting a new session, when your previous session expires, or when you clear your browser cookies.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our website, including which servers you view or add to favorites.
• Cookies: We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience and remember your preferences.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity via Steam
• To allow you to manage your servers and favorite listings

4. Location Information

4.1 Precise Location (Browser Geolocation)

We may request your precise location through your browser's geolocation API. This is used to:

• Calculate exact distances to servers
• Filter servers by distance range (e.g., within 500km)
• Sort servers by proximity to your location

• Sharing your precise location is completely optional
• This information is stored only in your browser's local storage
• Your coordinates are never shared with any third parties
• You can revoke this permission at any time through your browser settings

4.2 IP-Based Geolocation

When you first visit our site or if you choose not to share your precise location, we use your IP address to determine your approximate geographic location through the MaxMind GeoIP database and ipinfo.io services. This enables us to:

• Show you servers in your region or continent first
• Provide approximate distance calculations to servers
• Enhance your browsing experience with localized content

IP-Based Privacy Notes:

• Your IP address is never stored in our database
• The derived location data (country, region, continent) is not stored in our database
• Location information is only used for the current session to display relevant servers
• Location is determined only when starting a new session, when your previous session expires, or when you clear your browser cookies
• This geolocation data is not shared with any third parties
• We use the MaxMind GeoIP database and ipinfo.io services locally and do not share your IP with additional external services

5. Server Statistics and Ranking

Our platform collects and processes data about registered servers, including:

• Player counts and capacity
• Server uptime and reliability
• Game modes and maps
• Response times and performance metrics

This data is used to calculate server rankings, track trends over time (up to 30 days), and provide users with accurate server information. Server statistics are visible to all users of the platform.

6. Authentication Systems

6.1 Steam Authentication

We use Steam's OpenID for authentication. When you log in:

• You are redirected to Steam to authenticate
• After authentication, Steam provides us with your Steam ID
• We use the Steam API to retrieve your public profile information (username, avatar)
• We never have access to your Steam password or other sensitive credentials

6.2 Discord Integration

When you choose to link your Discord account for server integrations:

• You are redirected to Discord to authorize our application
• After authorization, Discord provides us with your Discord user ID, username, and avatar
• Database Storage: We store only your Discord user ID in our database to enable Discord server integrations
• Profile Information Sources: Discord usernames and avatars are obtained from Discord during the OAuth linking process and may also be fetched per session through our Discord Bot when you share Discord servers with our bot. This information is used for display purposes and is not permanently stored in our database.
• We never have access to your Discord password or private messages
• You can unlink your Discord account at any time, which will remove the Discord ID from our database

7. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist us in operating our website

• To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
